The Reserve has truly outdone itself with the new menu crafted by the renowned local chef Steve Topple. Every dish is a testament to the quality of fresh produce and locally sourced meats and ingredients. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! The Prix Fixe Menu, available on Fridays and Saturdays, changes weekly and never disappoints. Plus, the "Local Appreciation Special" during Happy Hour is a fantastic touch. The service is impeccable, thanks to the attentive and friendly staff like Jen, Liam, Vickey, and others. Their dedication to ensuring a memorable dining experience is evident in every visit. The recent revamp of The Reserve has made it a top-notch restaurant in every sense. Highly recommend!

Vicky was an amazing and hilarious server. She made our celebratory dinner so memorable! The food was incredible as always (my husband and I love visiting this spot) and the tiramisu dessert was DELICIOUS!

The service is good, the food is very good. It’s what you would expect in a resort, the Elk steak is delicious and cooked perfectly to my request, and the carpaccio was good, albeit the slices were thick. The servers are very nice and are very attentive. Good spot for a nice dinner.

Had dinner Sat 1/25. Very welcoming greeting by hostess, manager and server. Nice ambience and good acoustics, ie not too loud. Food and drinks (Strawberry Fields!) were both great. Maybe should warm the bread for the bruschetta since it’s a thicker cut here.. but it was still good. Quality kids menu too.

Loved the place! It’s a little fancy but still very cozy. The food was amazing, I'll definitely be coming back for more churros. And shoutout to the manager, she was so nice and super attentive the whole time.

Such a breath of fresh air to pay good money for food and service and receive TOP NOTCH of both. I was a little worried since it’s “Tamarack” and the off season….. but this is hands down the best meal that I’ve paid good money for in the last year and in this entire state. No need to worry, I am born and raised in Idaho. Tamarack was always a “oh god, another resort for the privileged “ to me. But if you are anywhere in Donnelly, McCall, or Cascade….. skip the Mill, skip Lardos, skip all of the rest. This pace does not disappoint. The Elk Tenderloin and New York steaks were perfect, the mashed potatoes were so good that we took the leftovers to go (Large sides) and ate them with breakfast the next morning (Still just as delicious). The risotto was equally delicious (we ate all of it at dinner). The wait staff and service was top notch and the prices were not that bad…… GO TRY IT OUT. I will definitely go back. Yum !! That ELK

Sipping on these well-crafted drinks set the tone for a memorable meal. For starters, we indulged in the Polpette alla Napoletana and Dusted Calamari. The polpette were delectable meatballs that practically melted in our mouths, enhanced by a rich and flavorful tomato sauce. The calamari, lightly coated and perfectly crispy, provided a delightful contrast of textures. Both dishes were prepared with evident skill and attention to detail, showcasing the culinary expertise of the kitchen staff. To complement our appetizers, we opted for a classic Caesar salad. The Reserve did not disappoint. The salad was a harmonious combination of fresh romaine lettuce, tangy Caesar dressing, and crunchy croutons. It was evident that only the finest ingredients were used, resulting in a salad that was both satisfying and refreshing. Throughout our dining experience, the attentive and knowledgeable staff at The Reserve went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction.
